Approaching Europe's historical trajectories to explain its present condition is an ever-growing genre. More than 200 years after the Congress of Vienna, more 100 First World War, sixty Treaty Rome, half a decade Brexit referendum – and year open warfare in Ukraine, European project remains constant flux. A seemingly endless sequence junctures over last two decades has raised demand for historically grounded analyses Europe. The desire such publications, both academic broader audience, thus far from exhausted. Every turn politics gives rise new take on past by historians scholars working related disciplines.
